PROJECT DETAILS:
Bayview Town Homes located at 900 Gilman is a twenty unit affordable housing project wherein Union Property Capital initiated legislation through the City of San Francisco that allowed for affordable housing requirements to be met off-site.  UPC formed a joint venture with a non-profit to build more units at a cheaper price in the neighborhood of the Sponsor.

Situated in the Bayview near Candlestick Point, the 17 - two bedroom and 3 - three bedroom condo project was constructed in 2005 and has been well received by the neighborhood.  Through this development program, the Sponsor was able to retain the profits from the development and UPC was allocated the housing credits to meet development requirements elsewhere in San Francisco.
