1050 Northgate Drive is a five story office building visible for Highway 101 in San Rafael. The project offers the opportunity for small and mid sized companies to occupy high quality, professionally managed space in the active North Marin marketplace.
Following the acquisition of the building in 2007, UPC commenced a complete renovation of the project. Beginning with the installation of new landscaping, the replacement of the parking lot, a new exterior paint scheme and the installation of new signage and public art the ownership created a whole new street presence for the building. Together with the exterior improvements, UPC upgraded the bathrooms with modern finishes and ADA accessibility and renovated the lobbies with new finishes and public art work. The common area hallways received new carpet, upgraded maple doors and clear aluminum jams in each tenant space. Finally the roof and the HVAC system were replaced.
