PROJECT DETAILS:
Walnut Creek Medical Plaza will be Downtown Walnut Creek’s most recently renovated medical center. Walnut Creek Medical Plaza is located just blocks from Highway 680 and the Walnut Creek BART Station at 590 Ygnacio Valley Road in Downtown Walnut Creek, California on the way to John Muir Hospital.  This new medical center will be available to the Greater Walnut Creek/ Central Contra Costa County Medical Community and its Patients during the fourth quarter of 2008.  Walnut Creek Medical Plaza will have 56,000 square feet of newly renovated Medical Office space on three (3) floors with on-site parking. Possible uses include: Orthopedics, Neurology, Kidney Dialysis, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pediatric/Internal Medicine and Cardiology Centers.

The Walnut Creek Medical Plaza can accommodate the necessary infrastructure to support an imaging center (i.e. MRI, X-Ray, and CT scanner) or a surgery center, including: floor loading, electrical capacity of 600 to 1000 amps, wet columns for exam rooms, fiber optics, a backup emergency generator and other amenities. A two floor medical center user will have signage opportunities on Ygnacio Valley Road.  The third floor is currently being designed to be a multi-tenant floor with suites from 1000 sf to 7500 sf medical practices. The automobile traffic count for this section of Ygnacio Valley Road is 62,500 cars per day. The renovations also include numerous ADA and Life Safety upgrades to the building.
